New Year

Today is the first day of a brand new year, 365 days to sing, dance and just plain live. So many places to go and things to do. How to choose which to do this year.

There's the trip across the northern US and Canada on Route 2 that will be so beautiful in the fall. Unfortunately that will also be harvest time in the garden. Do you suppose I can keep the garden small this year? Perhaps plant more flowers? But it's so nice to eat home grown veggies in the middle of winter!

Then there will probably be a trip to Asheville to renew a lease or re-rent the condo. Or perhaps fix up and sell? Just have to wait and see on this one. If I do go I can include a visit to Raleigh to see Ron, Libby and Kyra and maybe even to Richmond to visit with Bryan, Layna, Ophella and Athena. That would be wonderful albeit lots of driving.

Then there is the pile of books to be read, the photos to sort, the family tree to research, the garden to plan, the unfinished quilting project..... I could go on! Not all will be done this year!
